Project CREATE was developed as a five-year medical education initiative to promote undergraduate curricular innovation and faculty development in substance use disorders at the five Ontario medical schools.

Project CREATE is funded by the Addiction Research Foundation, the Lawson Foundation and the Max Bell Foundation, with additional support from the Richard and Jean Ivey Fund and London Life. The CREATE team includes site coordinators at the five schools, medical students, addiction specialists, undergraduate faculty and community representatives.
