This program is of interest to clinicians and trainees working in Emergency Departments, and reviews the emergency management of bleeding disorders with consideration of the 2008 CTAS Implementation Guidelines. Multimedia provide a valuable review of normal hemostasis, the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways, and what goes wrong in Hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease.
