The Ontario Lung Association is committed to improving the health and quality of life of people living with respiratory disease. The Provider Education Program develops learning programs for healthcare providers to enhance respiratory disease management. In particular, focus is on a greater understanding of the critical role spirometry plays in achieving objective measurement and monitoring of respiratory disease. In collaboration with the CTS Pulmonary Standards Committee the PEP has developed a module on spirometry testing, terms and measurements. A primary goal of the program is to increase provider confidence in the use and interpretation of spirometry.
