Dr Ernest Fallen and Dr Anthony J Levinson presented a series of workshops for cardiology trainees at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress in Montreal, October 23, 2010. The interactive workshops focused on how to incorporate online resources into teaching and learning, with some hands on examples using the Tales from the Heart e-learning resource.
Attended by a range of different participants from medical students to internal medicine residents to cardiology fellows, the workshop walked through some common teaching scenarios, and provided some practical tips on how to become a cardiology teaching guru.
The use of an audience response system also gave the presenters some interesting insights into the participants own knowledge gaps!
We look forward to following up with our participants to learn more about how they are incorporating e-learning into a 'blended approach' to cardiovascular education.
The Canadian Cardiovascular Congress(CCC) workshop is nothing but an Community based program for providing the Information for their Practice. The main moto behind this Workshop is to provide the Education program which will complement CCC.
