Blank or white screen when viewing a course

Recently there have been updates to all of the main browsers that disables flash player by default. If you are trying to complete a course and see a white screen you need to install or enable flash in your browser. Please follow the steps below. 

To install flash visit: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and follow the prompts.

To enable flash in your browser on Windows:

Enable Flash Player on Google Chrome

  1. At the top right, click More chrome more icon and then Settings.
  2. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
  3. Under "Privacy," click Content settings.
  4. Under "Flash," choose "Ask first before allowing sites to run Flash."
  5. At the bottom, click Done.

Enable Flash Player on Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the "..." button to access the Edge menu.
  2. Select the Settings menu item.
  3. Scroll down to the Advanced Settings section and click the View advanced settings button.
  4. Locate the Use Adobe Flash Player section and toggle the switch on to enable Adobe Flash Player.
  5. Refresh your web page or open a new browser tab.
Enable Flash Player on Mozilla Firefox
  1. Choose Firefox > Tools > Add-ons.
  2. Select Plugins.
  3. In the list of Add-ons, look for Shockwave Flash (another name for Flash Player) and check the status that appears to the right of the plug-in name.
  4. Select Always Activate.
  5. Close the dialog box.
