  • Summarize the evidence and recommendations outlined in the guideline 
  • Distinguish between a 'weak' vs. a 'strong' recommendation; and describe some of the implications of a 'weak' recommendation

  • Recognize when offering a trial of non-inhaled medical cannabis may make sense for people living with chronic pain
  • Describe the strength of the evidence behind the recommendations; in particular, discuss the benefits, short-term harms and long-term harms 
  • Employ shared decision-making with your patients with respect to the evidence and their values and preferences
