The Ontario Osteoporosis Strategy is an integrated approach to the prevention and management of osteoporosis in Ontario. The Strategy is designed to: Increase awareness of bone health and osteoporosis among public and health professionals Enhance early detection and diagnosis of osteoporosis Reduce the incidence of fragility fractures and refractures Enhance use of best practice in osteoporosis care by health professionals Improve the quality of life for those with osteoporosis Funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the Strategy spans the entire continuum of osteoporosis care and management.
